新型冠狀病毒疫情在中國(guó)及世界許多國(guó)家蔓延，更讓人痛心的是，與疫情相伴的還有層出不窮、五花八門的謠言，以及各種冷漠無情甚至失去底線的歧視。

當(dāng)?shù)貢r(shí)間11日，馬來西亞籍華裔喜劇演員錢信伊(Ronny Chieng)實(shí)在忍不住了！他跑到崔娃(Trevor Noah)的脫口秀節(jié)目上吐槽，“網(wǎng)上的謠言甚至比病毒還有毒。看來新型冠狀病毒不僅會(huì)讓人生病，還會(huì)讓人變蠢。”

And the misinformation going around online is even more viral than the disease. The coronavirus is not just making people sick, it's also making people stupid.

假消息一波未平一波又起

節(jié)目中，錢信伊一一細(xì)數(shù)了那些讓人瞠目結(jié)舌的可笑傳聞：

假消息稱中國(guó)紅牛、幸運(yùn)餅干、印尼炒面可以讓你感染新型冠狀病毒，這些都是假的。

Fake alerts suggesting that Chinese RedBull, fortune cookies or mi goreng noodles could give you coronavirus — All of those fake.

還有假消息稱喝漂白水可以治病毒。吃大蒜、用生理鹽水擤鼻涕或者涂上芝麻油可以預(yù)防病毒。

One false claim said that drinking bleach could cure the virus...Eating garlic, rinsing your nose with saline or putting on sesame oil help prevent the virus.

錢信伊毫不留情地調(diào)侃道：

真的嗎？居然有人相信吃大蒜和芝麻油可以預(yù)防疾病？Really? Some people think eating garlic and sesame oil will prevent the disease?

如果這是真的 你們覺得中國(guó)人還會(huì)得病嗎？If that was true, no Chinese person would have it, okay?

這不是治療手段，顯而易見，喝漂白水并不能治病。That's not a treatment for us. And obviously, drinking bleach isn't gonna cure the virus.

漂白水只會(huì)去除污漬好嗎？蠢貨！It's just gonna get the stains out, you idiots.

見是亞洲人就捂住了臉？

愚蠢的歧視行為

新型冠狀病毒不僅帶來了很多假消息。還引發(fā)了很多愚蠢的種族歧視。

錢信伊在節(jié)目里表示，新型冠狀病毒的爆發(fā)引發(fā)國(guó)際社會(huì)出現(xiàn)了反華情緒。

The coronavirus outbreak has led to complaints about a rise in anti-Chinese sentiment around the world.

比如在法國(guó)，當(dāng)?shù)貓?bào)紙為種族歧視的標(biāo)題道歉，標(biāo)題寫著“黃色警報(bào)”。與此同時(shí)，在網(wǎng)上瘋傳的這條視頻里，當(dāng)?shù)鼐用窨吹缴磉呑氖莵喼奕司臀孀×四槨n France, for example, a regional newspaper has had to apologize for this headline that used the phrase,"yellow alert," while scenes like this one you're about to see here are widespread of people appearing to cover their face just because they're sitting next to someone who's Asian.

CNBC報(bào)道稱，來福車（Lyft）和優(yōu)步（Uber）司機(jī)出于對(duì)病毒的恐懼拒載乘客，只因?yàn)槌丝偷男彰犉饋硐駚喼奕恕Ｋ緳C(jī)們聲稱接載這樣的乘客會(huì)不安全。對(duì)這樣的耍混行為，讓錢信伊忍不住吐槽回懟：

重點(diǎn)是不要再把這個(gè)病毒當(dāng)作是亞洲病毒了好嗎？是的，它是起源于亞洲，但任何人都可以傳播它。所以，如果你非要這么耍混的話你得避開所有人，好嗎？The point is, we got stop thinking of this as an Asian virus, okay? Okay, yes, it started in Asia, but any human can spread it. So if you're gonna be a dick about it, you got to avoid all people, okay?

你們真正關(guān)心的是健康危機(jī)么？

錢信伊諷刺那些麻木不仁的家伙，你們真正關(guān)心的是，收不到貨影響你曬圖秀貓狗吧！

真正愚蠢的是，人們似乎不關(guān)心自己的健康危機(jī)而更擔(dān)心收不到貨。

But what's really stupid is people who seem to care less about the health crisis and more about when they're gonna get their stuff.

特斯拉宣布Model 3二月份延遲交付，因?yàn)槭芤咔橛绊懀厮估虾３?jí)工廠暫時(shí)關(guān)閉。

It was announced that its Model 3 shipments for February would be delayed due to its Shanghai factory being shut down and the coronavirus fears.

NHL(北美職業(yè)冰球聯(lián)賽)用的曲棍球棒有75%產(chǎn)自中國(guó)，而為了控制病毒傳播，生產(chǎn)曲棍球棒的工廠也停產(chǎn)了。75% of hockey sticks used in the NHL aremade in China. Those factories have stopped production to slow the spread of the virus.

新型冠狀病毒還會(huì)影響蘋果手機(jī)的交貨。很多蘋果手機(jī)和平板都是從武漢地區(qū)運(yùn)來的。The coronavirus could slow shipments of the iPhone. Many of the phones, along with Apple's iPad, are shipped from China's Wuhan area.

消費(fèi)者們會(huì)延遲大概一兩周左右收到手機(jī)，如果近期疫情沒有得到有效控制的話...... 哦，不！你要多等十多天才能收到新手機(jī)？Consumers could see a delay of one to two weeks in getting their phones if the virus isn'tcontained soon. Oh, no. You're gonna have to waitten extra days to get your iPhone.

很遺憾那么多人染病去世，會(huì)讓你在晚上用新手機(jī)給自己的狗狗拍照很困難。I'm sorry all these people dying is making it harder for you to take nightshots of your dog.

錢信伊在節(jié)目里怒問：

你的特斯拉延遲交付了又怎樣？And so what if your Tesla's delayed?

這周就打Uber了行不行

Just take a Uber this week, okay?

也許你歧視的那個(gè)亞洲人

就是救你命的醫(yī)生

錢信伊呼吁西方社會(huì)不要歧視亞洲人，他們很有可能還是救治你們的醫(yī)生。

完全沒有理由在亞洲人旁邊舉止千奇百怪。There's no reason to be weird around Asian people.

不要歧視亞洲人。而且，他們很有可能都是醫(yī)生。所以，如果你擔(dān)心的話 是他們會(huì)幫助你，好嗎？Don't stereotype Asian people. Also, there's a good chance they're a doctor, so they can help you out if you are worried, okay?

“崔娃每日秀”頻道12日上傳了錢信伊的這段吐槽視頻，目前已有87萬(wàn)瀏覽量。

網(wǎng)民留言勸歧視者少交“智商稅”，傷財(cái)還傷命。

順便說一下，歧視和智商就沒同時(shí)存在過。

最致命的病毒就是蠢，不幸的是，它的傳染性還很強(qiáng)。

愚蠢是美國(guó)傳播最快的病毒。看起來很滑稽但也很悲傷。

冠狀病毒不是歧視的借口。
